A NEW TEXTBOOK FOR HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

Under the leadership of our esteemed President, the Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, extensive work is continuously being carried out during the Revival era of the new epoch of the Powerful State to prepare a new generation of national specialists. Caring for the youth is one of the priority directions of state policy. In this context, considering the necessity of knowing foreign languages for young people choosing their future profession, work related to language teaching forms a central thread running through the educational reforms. Thus, the younger generation's knowledge of their professions and foreign languages emerges as one of the essential requirements not only for establishing and maintaining diplomatic but also trade-economic, scientific-educational, and humanitarian relations with countries around the world.

Alongside other tasks, textbooks, study guides, and dictionaries, which will provide reliable support for anyone wishing to study within the education system, are being prepared, published, and regularly delivered to the public, primarily to knowledge-seeking students. Recently, one such work has been published—the textbook "Chinese Language I" for higher educational institutions (author: M.Gelenova — A.: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025).

The textbook contains valuable relevant information presented through the themes of lessons which explain various issues related to correct writing in Chinese and the ability to communicate in a cultured manner in this language. For each theme, sentences with new structures are provided. By studying these, students will learn to use them in speech, work on language tools and speaking skills, and improve themselves. The practical exercises offered in the textbook also take into account the peculiarities of Chinese vocabulary, word formation, and grammar.

The textbook will serve as an important and reliable resource for enhancing the language proficiency in Chinese of students studying at the National School of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan, as well as for them to acquire practical skills and competencies in the grammar of the Chinese language.
