The Social Protection Code has been amended

The Act amending the Social Welfare Code was adopted.

I. Article 8, paragraph 3, of the Social Protection Code approved by the Act of 19 October 2012 (Journal of the Majlis, 2012, No. 4, art. 91; 2013, No. 3, art. 59; 2014, No. 4, art. 152; 2015, No. 3, art. 113; 2016, No. 2, art. 100; 2017, No. 4, art. 147; 2018, No. 2, art. 45, No. 4, arts. 98 and 109; 2019, No. 4, Art. 95; 2021, No. 1, Art. 18; Milli Gengesh Gazette, 2021, No. 4, Art. 138; 2022, No. 2, Art. 24, No. 3, Art. 84), to read as follows:

3. Pension, state allowance at the request of the recipient may be transferred to his/her account opened in a bank. In this case, persons receiving pensions or State allowances must register once every six months with the relevant local Pension Fund body. The marking at the local Pension Fund office may be done through a digital system.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection approves the procedure for marking recipients of pensions or State benefits in the local Pension Fund body through the digital system.

II. The present Act shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
