The 65th session of the Assembly of WIPO Member States is taking place in Geneva

From July 9 to July 17, 2024 in Geneva, the delegation of Turkmenistan led by the head of the State Service for Intellectual Property under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan takes part in the 65th session of the Assembly of Member Countries of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). As part of the event, regular and extraordinary meetings of structural entities and specialized committees and regional groups of WIPO are held.
During a series of multilateral meetings, issues related to challenges in the field of protecting intellectual property, copyright and related rights, encouraging the promotion of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence will be discussed.
In addition, within the framework of the WIPO Assembly, events will be held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), including a meeting of the Administrative Council.
The priorities of the Program for the Development of the Intellectual Property System of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 will be the subject of discussion during bilateral meetings of the Turkmen delegation on the sidelines of the Assembly.
