President of Turkmenistan approves admission quotas for postgraduate, doctoral, and clinical residency programs

On January 16, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving the admission quotas for postgraduate students in various scientific fields, the registration of candidates for academic degrees, as well as the admission of residents to clinical residency programs for 2026.
The document was signed to provide a scientific basis for the comprehensive reforms being implemented in Turkmenistan, the large-scale integration of scientific achievements into the economy and all sectors, as well as the training of highly qualified specialists and research personnel.
The corresponding proposal was submitted to the Head of State by Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgül Orazdurdyyeva at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on January 16, 2026.
