Meeting at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with Representatives of the Asian Development Bank

Today, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, B.Orazdurdyeva. The ADB delegation was led by the Director of the Department of Human and Social Development, Sofia Shakil, and issues of future cooperation in the field of education and human capital development were discussed at the meeting.

Minister B. Orazdurdyeva expressed gratitude to the ADB for the long-term and effective cooperation with the bank and stated that she is ready to develop cooperation with the bank in the development of the country’s education system.

During the meeting, successful projects and new opportunities implemented in cooperation with ADB, for example, the development of technical and vocational education, determined the priority direction of joint activities in the field of tourism for the coming years.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in further fruitful collaboration and outlined the main directions of joint work for the coming years.
