In 2025, Turkmenistan plans to commission a number of major facilities in the healthcare and education sectors. Among them is the new building complex of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
The foundation of the complex, designed to accommodate 5,000 students, was laid on the first day of the 2023–2024 academic year in accordance with a decree of the President of Turkmenistan. Construction is being carried out by private enterprise "Ajaýyp-gurluşyk" on Görogly Street in Ashgabat, with works currently progressing at an accelerated pace.
The new campus buildings are intended as a gift to faculty and students in the first days of the new academic year, on the eve of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction was established on May 25, 2012, pursuant to a presidential decree. The institute currently operates 7 faculties and 26 departments, with more than 3,000 students enrolled. Each year, the institute graduates over 600 specialists.
