A musical and educational event titled “Independence — Our Pride, Turkmenistan — the Land of the Noble Horse” was held at the library of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory in cooperation with the Nury Bayramov Library Branch of the Ashgabat City Centralized Library System. The event was dedicated to the motto of 2026 and the upcoming 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
Speakers highlighted the historical significance and cultural value of the Akhal-Teke horse, a long-standing symbol of national pride and spiritual heritage. Particular attention was given to literary works and cultural traditions that celebrate the noble horse in Turkmen history.
The programme featured musical performances by conservatory students and a thematic book exhibition. Participants emphasized the importance of preserving national traditions and expressed confidence in the country’s continued cultural and social development.
