Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Mammedov reported on the matter of sending young people to higher education institutions in Romania for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Noting the advisability of sending Turkmen youth to universities in a friendly country in fields such as information technology, healthcare and medical sciences, education and pedagogical sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, as well as mathematics and natural sciences, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted the corresponding proposal for the consideration of the Head of State.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country is creating broad opportunities for the younger generation to gain knowledge at prestigious foreign universities. Approving the proposal to send youth to study at universities in Romania, the Head of State issued the relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
