On February 21, a regular meeting of the Turkmenistan National Commission for UNESCO was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Participants reviewed the results of the Commission's activities for 2025 and discussed the work plan for 2026.
The meeting brought together Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, heads of relevant ministries and agencies, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO, as well as representatives of scientific institutions and public associations.
The agenda also included reports on culture and science, as well as pressing issues related to the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNESCO. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening constructive cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, sustainable development, and international humanitarian engagement.
