The names of the winners of the contest "Fulfill your eco-dream!" announced

Ashgabat hosted a ceremonial award ceremony for the winners of the ecological project competition "Fulfill your eco-dream!" conducted among students of Turkmenistan.

Initiated by the public organization Ýaş tebigatçy ("Young Naturalist") led by Chairwoman Leyli Shykhmadova, the competition aimed to draw youth attention to environmental issues and encourage future specialists' participation in solving ecological problems.

Representatives of public organizations and environmental movements gathered to congratulate the winners. Magtymguly Akmyradov, Climate Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, expressed support for the participants of the event.

Projects developed by students of the country’s leading universities were presented during the event. Over 30 applications were submitted, according to Ýaş tebigatçy representative Shirin Zhozhieva. The jury evaluated the projects based on relevance, innovation and significance, ultimately selecting the top three works.

The first place was awarded to Gadyr Orazberdiyev, a student of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, for the project "ECOmat." He worked on creating a terminal for receiving plastic bottles with Rakhim Garrybayev, a second-year student of the Electronics Department at the same university.

Gulalek Allagulyeva, a student of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, proposed a method for decomposing plastic bags to accelerate the formation of biohumus using Californian worms, earning her second place.

Third place went to Sakhat Saryev, a student of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, for his project "Eco-Plastic" for 3D printers.

The winners were awarded cash certificates to implement their projects.
