The Honored President Received the Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan "On the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy" and a Set of Commemorative Badges

On December 9, following the conclusion of the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, a solemn ceremony was held in the "Oguz Khan" Palace Complex to present the Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan "On the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy" and a set of commemorative badges to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as to members of the government and heads of military and law enforcement agencies.

At the start of the ceremony, the Chairwoman of the National Parliament, D. Gulmanova, read the corresponding resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

According to the resolution, taking into account the significant contributions to the comprehensive development of the Homeland during the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, the strengthening of peaceful relations, friendship, and cooperation with countries of the world and reputable international organizations, the promotion and study of the rich literary heritage of the great Eastern thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, its influence on shaping high moral values among the youth, and in connection with the 300th anniversary of his birth, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was ceremoniously awarded the Jubilee Medal "On the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy" and a set of commemorative badges.

Following this, the medal and badges were also presented to the Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Director-General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, and the heads of military and law enforcement agencies.

On behalf of the members of the government, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the state award and International Neutrality Day. Speaking on behalf of the government, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the awarding of the Jubilee Medal and assured that all efforts would be made to further develop the Homeland and implement large-scale reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag and successfully carried out under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

The Secretary of the State Security Council and Minister of Defense, B. Gundogdyev, speaking on behalf of the military and law enforcement agencies, also congratulated the President on receiving the award and expressed gratitude for the attention given to strengthening the material and technical base of the security forces. He assured that the defenders of the Homeland would fully fulfill the tasks entrusted to them with great responsibility.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing gratitude for the congratulations, emphasized that he accepts the medal, awarded on the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, as a recognition for the entire Turkmen people. He noted that this medal obligates continued dedicated and tireless work for the prosperity of the Homeland and the well-being of its courageous people.

Concluding the ceremony, the President congratulated everyone on International Neutrality Day and the awarding of state honors, wishing success in their work for the further prosperity of the independent and neutral Homeland.
