A meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey took place

On June 12, 2024, a meeting was held between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey, M. Ishangulyyev, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, N. Yılmaz.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening interstate relations and expanding bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
There was also an exchange of views on key aspects of the international and regional agenda. The diplomats confirmed their mutual commitment to further activate bilateral mutually beneficial and equal cooperation in various platforms, including the UN.
In addition, issues related to organizing joint events to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classical literature figure of the East, Makhtumkuli Fragi, were discussed.
