"Alisa AI" could become a new assistant for schoolchildren and parents

Yandex is testing a new learning format using Alice AI. Now, when entering a math problem, the neural network will help the user understand it by asking leading questions and explaining the solution.

By clicking the "Try Learning Mode" button, the user will be taken to a chat with the AI. The neural network will explain the logic behind solving the problem and offer similar examples to reinforce the material. The dialogue will include a text input field and a calculator for formulas, making learning interactive and visual.

This feature is currently in development and will soon be available in the main Alice AI chat, where it will be powered by a new version of Yandex's large language model.

"We view AI as a tutor, useful for both students and parents. But it's important to understand that artificial intelligence does not replace teachers. "He will help you analyze assignments, practice your skills, and prepare for exams," Daria Kozlova, Director of Education at Yandex noted.
