A new textbook titled “Color Science and Coloristics” has been published in Turkmenistan for students of higher education institutions specializing in design. The release reflects the country’s continued focus on advancing science-based education and aligning academic standards with international practices.
The textbook was authored by N. Yagshymyradov and published by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026. It is designed to enhance students’ understanding of color theory, develop their professional perception of color, and support creative applications in design.
The book consists of an introduction, 22 sections, a conclusion, and a bibliography. It covers key topics such as the fundamentals of color science, color harmony, physical and psychophysical aspects of color perception, as well as practical assignments including work with the color wheel and development of color compositions.
