The professors and students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University conducted an off-site training session

The faculty teachers of the Department of Industrial Ecology within the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology at the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University, accompanied by students from the same department specializing in “Standardization and Metrology.” We have arrived at the State Reference Center of the “Turkmenstandartlary” Main State Service to conduct an off-site practical training session.

The objective of this field session is to strengthen the links between higher educational institutions and scientific-practical centers. The goal is to train highly qualified specialists capable of contributing significantly to our nation’s development and who are well-versed in the latest advancements in science and technology. The State Reference Center ensures full compliance with the strict requirements for the storage and maintenance of high-precision reference standards and measuring instruments. This session is designed to integrate the students’ theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice.

Main Activities of the State Reference Center:

• conducting comprehensive evaluations and measurements;

• ​exercising state control over the activities of other institutions performing technical tests and analyses;

• ​performing repair and calibration work on specialized testing hardware;

• ​engaging in research and development within the fields of natural and technical sciences;

• ​executing repair work on various precision instruments and equipments.
