Closing Ceremony of the International Internet Olympiad

The V Open International Internet Olympiad in the discipline “Theoretical Mechanics” held from March 24-28 of the year “Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses” concluded with excellent results. This Olympiad, hosted by the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan was a unique celebration of friendship.

The International Olympiad was marked by a high spirit from the very beginning. The first day of the International Olympiad featured the opening ceremony and individual competitions. On the second day, team competitions were held. It is noteworthy that interest in such international competitions is steadily growing. In the final days of the competition, a specially formed jury summarized the results. More than 760 students tested their knowledge and skills in “Theoretical Mechanics” at the Olympiad. Approximately 570 students from more than 90 higher educational institutions in several foreign countries participated in the International Open Internet Olympiad. These countries included the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Romania, Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of India, South Sudan, the Republic of Turkey, the United States of America, the Republic of Vietnam and Malaysia. The increasing number of foreign students participating annually in the Open International Internet Olympiad in “Theoretical Mechanics” demonstrates its competitiveness and its importance in strengthening friendly relations among young people, broadening students' perspectives and expanding their knowledge. As stated by the speakers on the concluding day of the International Internet Olympiad, the educational reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and successfully implemented under the leadership of our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, are yielding positive results in the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state, in the year “Independent neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of purposeful winged horses”. The International Internet Olympiad lasted for 5 days. On the concluding day, students who won in individual and team competitions were awarded with appropriate diplomas and incentive prizes. At the end of the conference, the musical group of the institute “Kuvvat” performed several songs, praising our Fatherland, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. The student youth who participated in the successfully held Olympiad expressed their praise and gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for all the opportunities created for them to study, learn, create, and participate in such competitions in line with the advanced requirements in our country.
