Representatives of Turkmenistan are participating in an international educational program in India

In the city of New Delhi, Republic of India, an international program titled “International Programme on Institutional Planning for Heads of Educational Institutions – Iteration II” is being held within the framework of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program. The event is organized by the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA).

This prestigious training seminar, taking place from March 30 to April 10, 2026, is attended by representatives of higher education institutions of Turkmenistan — lecturers of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and the International University for the Humanities and Development.

Within the framework of the program, specialists from 16 countries, including Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Thailand, and Colombia, are discussing modern approaches to improving education systems. The training sessions are conducted at a high level by internationally recognized professors and experts in educational management such as Neeru Snehi, Mona Sedwal, Kumar Suresh, K. Srinivas, and Kashyapi Awasthi.

The main academic and practical areas of the program include institutional and strategic planning, modern methods of educational leadership and management, international standards for quality assurance in education, financial planning, and the integration of digital technologies into the education system. The program features interactive seminars, group research activities, and experience-sharing sessions.

The Turkmen representatives are presenting the achievements of our country’s education system while also learning from international experience. In addition, study visits to the Institute of Educational Technology and the National Council of Educational Research and Training have enabled participants to gain deeper insights into India’s educational strategy and technological infrastructure.

Participation of Turkmen representatives in this international program will significantly contribute to enhancing the global competitiveness of the country’s higher education system, improving teachers’ professional skills, and advancing scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
