“BUILDING STRUCTURES” TEXTBOOK PUBLISHED FOR HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Under the leadership of the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, Turkmenistan continues to achieve significant progress in socio-economic development, improving the well-being of its citizens and strengthening its international standing.
Recently, a textbook titled “Building Structures” has been published for higher education institutions (authors: B.Mammedov, D.Durdyyev. — Ashgabat: Ylym Publishing House, 2026, 464 pages). The textbook fully aligns with the academic curriculum and covers the main materials used in construction, including metal, wood, concrete, and reinforced concrete.
The publication provides comprehensive information on the history, applications, physical and mechanical properties, and structural systems of metal, wooden, and reinforced concrete constructions. Particular attention is given to the fundamentals of structural analysis and design, connection methods, and calculation techniques for load-bearing and enclosing elements.
The textbook is intended for students of engineering and construction specialties, instructors, and postgraduate researchers in the field. It can also be used as a study guide in secondary vocational education institutions.
