THE III INTERNATIONAL MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD CONTINUES

In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, under the wise leadership of our Esteemed President, immense care is being taken to ensure that the younger generation receives a modern education in accordance with world standards. In this context, the III International Mathematical Olympiad held among schoolchildren is of great importance.

As is known, the opening ceremony of this international Olympiad took place on April 9, 2026, at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University. In the first half of the day on April 10, the students participated in the individual round of the Olympiad, held at the 135th secondary school in Ashgabat specialized in English. Guests were welcomed with musical performances. While the students were competing in the individual stage, the heads of the delegations became acquainted with the organization of the school's educational and methodological processes and viewed an exhibition. All necessary conditions have been created for the Olympiad to be held effectively at a high organizational level.

Currently, our state is carrying out systematic work to further advance international cooperation in the field of science and education among youth. In this regard, the «Strategy for International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030,» approved by the Decree of our Esteemed President, is worthy of special mention. The main goal of the Strategy is to further strengthen the friendly relations of Turkmen youth with the youth of other countries and to ensure their mutual exchange of experience in various fields of knowledge.

In the second half of the day, the heads of delegations and the students participating in the Olympiad visited the «Magtymguly Pyragy» cultural and park complex in our capital. As is well known, the park features a statue of the wise poet Magtymguly Pyragy, alongside statues of classical poets and writers from various nations around the world. This left a particularly pleasant impression on the participants of the Olympiad.
