At the Government meeting held on April 10, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Mammedov reported on the work carried out in the supervised sector within the framework of the socio-economic development of Lebap velayat. This was reported by the online newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
As noted, within the framework of the socio-economic development of Lebap velayat for 2022–2028, 11 modern secondary schools and 2 kindergartens have been commissioned. At present, construction is underway on a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi.
Reforms are being implemented aimed at protecting the health of the population of Lebap velayat, as well as increasing the production capacity of the local pharmaceutical industry.
The velayat is creating broad opportunities for the development of high-performance sports, mass physical culture and sports movement, as well as for preparing national teams for world championships and major international competitions.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of improving the quality of work in educational institutions operating in the country, including in Lebap velayat, as well as completing within the established timeframe the construction of the new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in the city of Turkmenabat.
In addition, the head of state instructed that special attention be paid to strengthening the material and technical base of existing healthcare institutions and that appropriate measures be taken to ensure the effective use of sports facilities.
