Expansion of Turkmen-Uzbek scientific and educational cooperation discussed

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shadurdy Meredov, met with Bahodir Mirzaev, the Rector of the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

As noted in the report, during the meeting held on April 9, the positive and friendly nature of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in the education sector was highlighted. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the already established relations between higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and the mentioned university of the brotherly neighboring country.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed prospects for further expanding scientific and educational cooperation, including issues of experience exchange between students and teachers.

Noting the importance of holding joint scientific and cultural events, the parties agreed to organize joint activities dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of our country and Uzbekistan during the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses».
