Solemn conference was held

On April 13, 2026 a solemn conference entitled "The Endeavors that Fulfilled the Dreams of Ages" was held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The conference was attended by the institute's professors, academic staff, postgraduate students, and young students. In the course of the solemn conference, several reports were heard regarding: the foundation ceremony of a new, modern town for 4,500 households, located in the Ymambaba gengeshlik of Yoloten district in Mary province, which took place on April 8, 2026, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The new town will be built by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of Turkmenistan, covering an area of over 800 hectares and intended for more than 22,500 residents. Furthermore, the town will include an administration building for the Council, 6 secondary schools with 720 seats each, 8 kindergartens with 320 seats each, health centers, a cultural center with 500 seats, police and post office departments, a 2-story shopping center, a mosque with 1,000 seats and a wedding hall with 500 seats. Moreover, during the conference, several reports were presented on: the opening ceremony of the Mary-Türkmenabat section of the Ashgabat-Türkmenabat high-speed highway held on April 10, 2026. The total length of this high-speed highway is 600 kilometers and this road section was implemented by the "Türkmenawtoban" closed joint-stock company. Furthermore, it was highlighted that the Ashgabat-Türkmenabat high-speed highway is a historic event that serves as a worthy continuation of ambitious projects aimed at the country's economic development and the improvement of the people's standard of living. During the conference, several reports were heard about the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag to the Republic of Austria. Talented students of the institute sang several songs, glorifying our Motherland, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. At the end of the conference, the participants expressed words of gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for all the opportunities being created.
