The first stage of the Olympiad in mathematics, chemistry, and informatics was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University among secondary school students of our country

At the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, on April 9–11, 2026, declared in the country under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” an online internet Olympiad in mathematics, chemistry, and informatics was held among students of general secondary schools of our country using a digital system on the Moodle platform (https://ticit.edu.tm/) in an individual competition format. Students of secondary schools across the country who had become winners of chemistry competitions held at the district, regional, and national levels were also registered to participate in the Olympiad.

A total of 744 students registered to participate in the Olympiad. Using national software developed at the university, 189 individual winners were determined based on the points scored by the students. They were granted the right to participate in the second stage of the competition. The second stage will be held at the university on April 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
