“Traditional Medicine Room” opened at Turkmenistan’s Medical University

On April 15, a meeting was held at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan with a delegation from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine headed by its Rector, Tan Zhishu. This was reported by the online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

As part of the visit, a ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine on the establishment of a Turkmen-Chinese Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The substantive program of the Beijing University delegation’s visit was further enriched by the opening ceremony of the “Traditional Medicine Room” within the structure of Turkmenistan’s medical university.

The celebration continued in the university’s main conference hall, where it was announced that Rector Tan Zhishu was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan for his efforts in strengthening inter-university relations and his valuable contribution to the exchange of experience between the two institutions.
