A NEW TEXTBOOK FOR GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

A new textbook titled “French Language (Second Foreign Language)” has been published in Turkmenistan for Grade 5 students of general education schools. The textbook was authored by G.Amanova, T.Atdayeva, and O.Gazakova and released by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026.
The publication has been developed in line with the national curriculum and aims to improve foreign language teaching methodologies. The textbook consists of five thematic units covering key areas of students’ lives, including family, environment, society, homeland, and nature. It features texts, dialogues, exercises, grammar explanations, and illustrations.
The textbook is designed to develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French. It also promotes cultural awareness, intercultural communication, and contributes to enhancing the overall quality of language education.
