Competition among Happy Young Men

On April 30, 2026, the university stage of the creative competition “Happy Heroes of the New Era of a Powerful State,” held among talented students of higher education institutions of the country in honor of Victory Day, took place at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.

The competition was jointly organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education. In the first stage, students artistically presented the role of their chosen professions in society.

In the second stage, the participants performed songs, musical compositions, poems, and stage performances reflecting such qualities of the Turkmen young man as courage, bravery, spiritual resilience, and justice, in connection with the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.”

In the third stage, the contestants, observing the traditions of upbringing and nobility characteristic of Turkmen young men, appeared on stage in national costumes and, in turn, performed jokes and humorous stories within one minute each, thereby adding a special festive atmosphere to the event.

Thus, according to the scores awarded by the members of the jury, 5th-year student of the Faculty of Energy and Engineering Structures of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Mammet Toyryyev, was declared the winner of the university stage of the competition.
