Happy youth of a prosperous state

On May 4, 2026, the final stage of the creative competition titled “Happy Youth of a Prosperous State” was held at the Mahtumkuli Fragi National Music and Drama Theatre. The competition was announced among students of higher education institutions across the country in honor of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. This contest, organized by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Fragi Youth Organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, once again clearly demonstrated that state youth policy in our country is successfully developing and producing positive results.

According to the regulations of the competition, in the first stage students glorified the importance of their chosen profession in society through songs, energetic dances, and artistic recitations, and also expressively demonstrated their pride in their future specialty through specially prepared video clips. In the second stage of the competition, performances showcasing how knowledge-seeking youth actively master modern technologies and advanced methods of science and education became even more extensive. At the same time, in line with the creative spirit of the year under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” noble qualities inherent in Turkmen youth such as courage, bravery, and honesty were artistically celebrated through poetry, deeply meaningful monologues, and impressive stage performances.

In the final stage, students, following the traditions of national cultural etiquette and artistry, also demonstrated their sense of humor and ability to perform in a humorous style. Interesting sketches and witty jokes performed in national costumes further enlivened the festive atmosphere and gave the audience pleasant impressions. Thus, the event turned into a true celebration of talent, showing that young people keep pace with the times, master professional skills to a high level, and at the same time demonstrate deep respect for our national values.

According to the decision of the jury, composed of masters of culture and art of our country, in the competition, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Energy and Engineering Structures of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University, Mammet Toyryyev, was awarded third place. In a solemn atmosphere, the winners and the young men who actively participated in the competition were presented with honorary certificates from the Central Council of the Magtymguly Fragi Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education, as well as commemorative gifts.

The jury also awarded other talented male students who participated in the competition according to the specific features of their performances in the following categories: “Brave Young Man,” “Inspired Young Man,” “Gifted Young Man,” “Purposeful Young Man,” “Athletic Young Man,” “Melodious Young Man,” and “Master Musician Young Man.”
