On May 11, the opening ceremony of the III International Competition "International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This event once again confirmed that our country has become a center for international forums and scientific conferences. Within the framework of the competition, an exhibition dedicated to the foreign policy of Turkmenistan and decorative and applied arts was launched in the main building of the institute. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
More than 40 representatives from 9 countries around the world, including Russia, China, Great Britain, and neighboring Central Asian states, are participating in the international competition. Additionally, 117 talented students selected from the higher education institutions of our country received the opportunity to test their knowledge in this prestigious contest. Participants emphasized the importance of resolving international issues through political-diplomatic means and the significance of a culture of peace for sustainable development.
The policy of Neutrality pursued by our state is aimed at ensuring universal well-being. As noted during the competition, Turkmenistan puts forward important initiatives within the framework of the United Nations to strengthen peace, energy, and environmental security. This international event has become an ideal platform for exchanging experience among young diplomats and specialists, as well as for strengthening friendly relations.
As part of the cultural program of the competition, guests visited the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The historical values and rich cultural heritage of our people displayed in the museum made a great impression on the foreign participants. The guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the high-level organization of the competition and the interesting excursions.
