INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR IN SINGAPORE

Senior researcher of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan O.Berdiev within the framework of the Cooperation Program of the Republic of Singapore and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan was on a business trip from August 19 to 23, 2024 and took part in an international seminar on the educational program "Transformation of education for educational policy makers: the experience of Singapore". The program of the international seminar was very informative. The participants of the seminars were introduced to the experience of Singapore in the field of education in solving problems in accordance with the unique challenges faced by the Singapore education system. The reforms implemented in order to ensure effective results aimed at the formation of students' competencies and provision of conditions for further successful schooling. The presentations of the participants of this forum covered topics on the review of current trends in education, an integrated approach to the management of the Singapore education system, policy and practice of innovations and reforms aimed at improving the quality of teaching and leadership in Singapore schools. The seminar was held in various formats, which included seminars on the exchange of experience, visits to educational institutions and group work. The presentations of the distinguished lecturers were very detailed and many productive discussions were held. The international seminar expanded knowledge and competencies of the education specialists from different countries and served as good opportunity for sharing the experience and developing international cooperation in the field of education. The participants of seminar were awarded certificates of international standard.
