A student of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Guzychiyeva has won a grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to take part in «Hochschulsommerkurse», a monthlong intensive summer program for studying German in Germany. The program aims to significantly improve participants' German language skills in a short period and introduce students from around the world to German culture and its modern education system.
As part of the intensive program, students attend not only grammar and vocabulary classes but also specialized sessions on academic writing, conversation practice, pronunciation and listening comprehension. Classes take place under the guidance of experienced instructors. Students also study the country in depth, covering its social life, political system and economic achievements.
Besides classes, participants take excursions to German cities, visit historical sites, museums and cultural centers in the region, and get to know the everyday life of the German people. About 150 countries are represented among the program's participants.
According to the student, the program is not only language practice but also an important step for his future academic and professional path.
