Students of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan Visit the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy

On September 16, 2026, under the motto of the year "Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses" students of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan met with faculty members of the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy and specialists from the Horse Breeding Scientific-Production Center of the "Türkmen atlary" State Association.

During the meeting, medical students explored the practical applications of hippotherapy – a therapeutic method using Akhal-Teke horses. In the Center’s advanced laboratories, experts demonstrated scientific research procedures on horse physiology, including the circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems. The participants also exchanged views on promoting national equestrian sports and preserving Turkmenistan's rich cultural heritage.
