An international student competition for theme of the culture of peaceful dialogue

Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Institute International Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan is holding an International Competition “International Relations: A Culture of Peaceful Dialogue” and Brain-ring among students of higher educational institutions of the countries Central Asia, Caspian states, Turkey and China. The events will take place in the Turkmen capital from May 22 to 25.

The competition will be held in the form of individual and team competitions. On May 23, as part of the individual stage there will be a test was conducted consisting of 30 questions on the topic regional and international relations, their political diplomatic, trade-economic, historical-cultural and other relevant areas.

On the same day, the individual stage of the international competition. Participants will be required to complete 5 written assignments, the content of which includes new directions mathematical methods in modeling sustainable development, areas of modeling international negotiations, use of information technology in studying international economic relations, studying world trends in international transport logistics, use of mathematics and mathematical modeling in making optimal decisions in international relations and other.

On May 24, the participants will compete in the team stage international competition. Within its framework, students will asked to complete from 5 to 10 application tasks mathematical methods in international relations, mathematical modeling, econometrics, logistics and other directions.

Next, the contestants will take part in a thematic brain-ring, according to the results of which the jury will mark active participants, the best discussions, teams, and those nominated during the game constructive ideas and suggestions. The main goal of the brain assault" - to present optimal methods of dialogue and cooperation between international actors and their types in as a result of the analysis of current issues of international and regional agenda.

The jury of the Olympiad will include teachers from participating universities and representatives of scientific institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries. The winners of the competition will be awarded medals and diplomas relevant degrees, as well as diplomas and gifts.
