The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan invites to the International Mathematics Olympiad

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan would like respectfully invite you to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad, which will be held among school children in Arkadag city on March 25-30, 2024, dedicated to the 300th Anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker and classical poet of the Orient.

The International Mathematics Olympiad is held in order to develop the natural talents and abilities of schoolchildren, to raise leading young people with a broad outlook by strengthening friendship, to encourage them to get actively engaged in science and creativity, and to provide positive conditions for choosing profession related to their intellectual development.

The official working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen, Russian, and English.

The Olympiad is to be held as an individual competition in I (one) stage A and B level:

Level A – schoolchildren up to 20 years old, graduates who finished school in their own country less than a year ago and who are not students of higher educational establishment during the Olympiad can participate;

Level B – schoolchildren under the age of 15, 5 can participate.

There is no limit on the number of schoolchildren (participants) at both levels for participating countries.

Countries participating in the Olympiad can submit 3 issues to the competition. The issues raised should be sent to the organizing committee with a specific solution by February 25, 2024.

Schoolchildren wishing to participate in the Olympiad and their team supervisors will be registered from February 15 to March 10, 2024 through the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The hosting country covers the expenses related to food, accommodation, transportation within the country and tour during the Olympiad for the schoolchildren and their supervisors participating in the Olympiad.
