TEXTBOOK "JAPANESE LANGUAGE (II FOREIGN LANGUAGE)"  FOR 5TH GRADE OF GENERAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED

Under the leadership of our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, extensive work is underway in all educational institutions of the country to successfully implement the tasks outlined in the Concepts "On Improving the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan," "On Developing the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan," and "On Improving the Methodology of Teaching in General Education Programs in Turkmenistan until 2028." This work involves integrating the outcomes of these concepts into the education system and utilizing modern methods of foreign language teaching to enhance the quality of education provided to young people.

Recently, the textbook "Japanese Language" for the 5th grade of general secondary schools in our country was published (authors: N.Amangeldiyeva, Z.Khodjagurbanova, T.Uehara – A.: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2025). This textbook fully complies with the approved curriculum.

The content of the textbook includes an introduction to Japanese writing, basic forms of greetings, as well as topics such as "Acquaintance", "My family", "My school", "Educational supplies", "My classroom". The textbook is completed with a repetition of the material covered, audio applications for developing listening comprehension skills, and a bilingual glossary for ease of vocabulary acquisition.

Another distinctive feature of the textbook is that the included glossary and texts are supplemented with audio recordings. This clearly demonstrates the full implementation of the tasks set by our Respected President to achieve new heights in the national education sector through the integration of digital technologies into the education system. This, in turn, develops students' speaking and writing skills. Various exercises are used to reinforce vocabulary. Explanations in Japanese are also provided for information related to the texts. 

The texts, dialogues, and exercises in the book will strongly contribute to the development of students' reading skills. A bilingual glossary is included at the end of the textbook. The preparation of the textbook was guided by the modern requirements of current foreign language teaching methodology. The significance of this book in teaching students Japanese is very great.
