Ecological event held

Recently, an ecological event was organized at the 161st kindergarten in Ashgabat by the Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. The purpose of this event was to provide ecological knowledge and education to the young generation, enhancing their ecological literacy. During the event, students from the university's Ecology and Natural Resource Management department conducted various games, poems, and songs to educate the children about the plant and animal world of our country, their living characteristics, and the importance of conserving and restoring rare or endangered species both globally and in Turkmenistan. Additionally, children were taught practical skills for caring for indoor plants and pets, as well as maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings through a master class.

It is worth mentioning that students of the Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan consistently and actively participate in various environmental events and competitions at both national and international levels. The initiatives undertaken by the university to ensure ecological well-being receive high recognition globally. The university also ranks among the top positions in the “UI Green Metric” ranking, which evaluates the efforts of leading universities worldwide in the areas of ecology, environmental protection, and sustainable use of natural resources.
