The President of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the work carried out in the agro-industrial complex

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev and Khakimov velayats. Issues related to the progress of work in the agricultural sector of the country and the implementation of the National Rural Program have been submitted for consideration.

The first floor was given to the hyakim of the Akhal Velayat, S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, at present, the necessary measures are being taken on the agricultural lands of the region to harvest cotton without losses, use agricultural machinery at full capacity and uninterrupted transportation of raw materials to receiving points and cotton gins.

Wheat sowing is coming to an end in the region. Vegetation irrigation is carried out on the sown areas to obtain seedlings, in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, seedlings are cared for.

In order to organize a nationwide tree planting campaign, work is currently underway to prepare seedlings and areas.

Along with this, the necessary measures are being taken for the smooth functioning of heating systems at social and housing facilities in the region.

Hyakim also reported on preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, as well as on the pace of construction of social and industrial infrastructure facilities scheduled for commissioning this year according to the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of organized seasonal agricultural work, in particular, cotton harvesting and wheat sowing, giving specific instructions to the hakim in this regard.

At the same time, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under control the timing and quality of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, scheduled to open in the velayat this year.

Next, the hyakim of the Balkan velayat H.Ashyrmyradov made a report on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As noted, all measures are being taken to harvest cotton to the last box, while agricultural machinery is being used efficiently and at full capacity. Uninterrupted reception of raw materials by specialized enterprises is ensured.

Wheat sowing continues in the velayat, everything necessary is being done to hold this important season at a high level. Vegetation irrigation is carried out on the sown areas.

In accordance with the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to turn the country into a blooming oasis, preparations are underway in the region for a nationwide tree planting campaign.

At the same time, appropriate measures are being taken to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in educational and public institutions, cultural institutions, administrative buildings, and residential buildings.

In addition, hakim reported on the organization of festive events on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, as well as on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic Development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program scheduled to open this year.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan stressed the need to harvest the cotton crop grown by the diligent work of Daikhan without losses and to carry out high-quality wheat sowing in agrotechnical terms, giving specific instructions to the hyakim.

The Head of State also ordered to keep under constant control the implementation of the work planned for the current year within the framework of the country's socio-economic development programs.

The workshop continued with a report by the hyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev on the progress of seasonal work in the agricultural sector.

As noted, cotton harvesting continues in the region, agricultural machinery is operating at full capacity, and the harvested crop is delivered smoothly to reception points.

In the velayat, the sowing of wheat has entered the final stage, uniform seedlings have been obtained in the sown fields.

At the same time, appropriate measures are being taken to harvest a rich harvest of rice.

Preparations are also underway in the velayat for an organized nationwide landscaping campaign.

Information was provided on the measures taken to ensure the reliable functioning of heating systems at social and housing facilities in the region.

Next, B.Orazov, the hyakim of Mary velayat, made a report on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, the cotton harvest continues according to schedule, at the same time, everything necessary is being done for the uninterrupted reception of raw materials by specialized enterprises and points, the effective functioning of combines, transport and aggregates.

Measures are being taken to complete the sowing of wheat in agrotechnical terms and then obtain uniform seedlings.

The collection of sugar beet continues, reception is ensured without delay and proper storage at the sites of the incoming harvest.

In addition, preparations are underway for a nationwide landscaping campaign.

The stable functioning of heating systems in educational, administrative, public institutions and residential buildings is maintained.

The head of the regional administration informed about the preparations for the Harvest Festival, as well as about the state of affairs at new buildings of social and industrial infrastructure scheduled for commissioning this year according to the National Rural Program.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As noted, the harvesting of raw cotton is being optimized. The harvest taken from the fields is promptly delivered to reception points and to cotton gins due to the effective use of specialized equipment and transport.

At the same time, the laying of the wheat harvest for the coming year continues: as part of the care after sowing, appropriate watering is carried out.

Rice is harvested in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, and sugar beet is harvested in the Mary region.

After hearing the information and focusing on the current seasonal campaigns in the agricultural sector, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep an organized and high-quality implementation under control.

Then, addressing the participants of the workshop, the head of state noted that the optimal completion of the sowing campaign would allow for a rich grain harvest. In this regard, it was instructed to control the sowing in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology.

At the same time, it was instructed to keep the cotton harvesting campaign under constant control, ensure high functionality of agricultural machinery, enterprises and reception points, and timely make payments with manufacturers and service institutions for the work done in the context of this year's cotton harvest, as well as next year's wheat.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to take all measures to harvest rice in full in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, as well as sugar beet in the Mary region. It was also instructed to comprehensively prepare for the nationwide landscaping campaign.
