Today, on November 6, the eleventh summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OT) will be held in Bishkek. The summit will be attended by the heads of the five OTG member states, as well as the leaders of the observer countries, including Turkmenistan and Hungary.
The main topic of the summit will be "Strengthening the Turkic world: Economic integration, sustainable development, digital future and security for all". The summit participants will discuss the most important issues related to strengthening cooperation between the member states of the OTG, the development of economic ties, the transition to digital technologies, as well as strengthening security in the region.
An important result of the meeting will be the transfer of the chairmanship of the OTG for 2025 from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan. This event reflects the dynamic development of cooperation within the organization and is an important step in promoting joint initiatives in the international arena.
The Organization of Turkic States includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, while Turkmenistan and Hungary participate in the summit as observers. The meetings of the OTG discuss issues of political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as issues of security and protection of the interests of the member countries in the international arena.
