A meeting was held with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Neda Berger

On 15 October 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova met with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Neda Berger at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties noted the effectiveness of the Turkmen-Austrian Society's activities and discussed current and prospective areas of cooperation.
The parties stressed the successful holding of the International Forum "Interconnection of Times and Civilisations - the Basis for Peace and Development" held in Ashgabat. In this context, the sides exchanged views on the possibilities of further expansion of cooperation in the spheres of culture, art, science and education.
The meeting highlighted the significance of the VI Vienna Ball held in Arkadag city along with the festive events in honour of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, which became a vivid symbol of active Turkmen-Austrian creative interaction.
