Hero - Arkadag Held a Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Charitable Fund Named After Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Support Children in Need of Care

On December 7, in the city of Arkadag, under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero- Arkadag, a meeting of the Board of the Charitable Fund named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to support children in need of care was held. Participants included members of the Board, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, and the Mayor of Arkadag, G. Mammedova.

"This year has been marked by numerous unforgettable events in the life of our independent state and beloved people," said Hero - Arkadag, emphasizing that the political, social, and international achievements inspire Turkmen citizens to aim for great goals and deepen their pride in their independent homeland.

As noted, on the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence, during the Year of "The Treasury of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy," several significant events were successfully held, including the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and sessions of the Council of Elders of the Charitable Fund. Humanitarian aid from the Fund was also sent to several friendly states.

The National Leader congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the Year of "The Treasury of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy" and the upcoming 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. He expressed his hope that 2025, marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality recognized twice by the UN General Assembly, would bring success to the homeland, happiness to its people, friendship to humanity, and peace to the world.

Raising physically strong and spiritually rich generations and protecting the health of mothers and children are priorities of state policy in independent Turkmenistan. The establishment of the Charitable Fund named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reflects this commitment to care for every child. Hero - Arkadag noted that such humanitarian measures stem from the rich traditions of the Turkmen people.

Hero - Arkadag presented the agenda of the meeting, which included:

• The results of the Fund's activities over the past period;
• Amendments to legislative acts;
• Allocation of the Fund's resources;
• The performance of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center.

In Turkmenistan, health is equated with the nation's wealth. Under the leadership of Hero - Arkadagly Serdar, efforts are underway to promote healthy lifestyles and foster physically strong and spiritually enriched generations loyal to the homeland. Modern healthcare facilities and scientific clinical centers have been established nationwide, and new international health and rehabilitation centers have opened this year, showcasing the state's prioritization of human health.

The "Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment" enterprise, established in Arkadag, undertakes significant efforts, including producing medical equipment for healthcare institutions.

The Charitable Fund plays a vital role in shaping a healthy younger generation. The President of Turkmenistan actively supports the Fund’s activities, including promoting humanitarian values and developing philanthropic initiatives. Ancient Turkmen traditions are vividly expressed in the humanitarian policies of Hero Arkadagly Serdar.

During the meeting, Vice President R. Bazarov reported on the Fund’s accomplishments, including 500 surgeries for children in need, preventive check-ups, and the distribution of medical supplies. Humanitarian aid has been sent to children in Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Palestine affected by disasters. Additionally, computers funded by the Fund were distributed to students in Tajikistan, and nutritional products were sent to Afghanistan.

Hero - Arkadag concluded the meeting by emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in the Fund's activities and signed resolutions to enhance its operations and approve amendments to its charter. Oguljahan Atabaeva was nominated as Vice President for Medical Affairs to further the Fund’s mission.
