Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation: Practical Classes Conducted at Luban Workshop
On October 18, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Xi'an, People's Republic of China, between Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum University of Technology, China National Petroleum Corporation and China Education Association for International Exchange.
On April 16, 2026, the official opening ceremony of the Luban Workshop in Turkmenistan was held at Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, to enhance the professional qualifications and pedagogical skills of the faculty, ensure the sustainable development of the Luban Workshop in Turkmenistan, study the experience of specialized higher educational institutions, strengthen practical cooperation among educational professionals, and discuss prospective areas of interaction, faculty members from Xi'an Petroleum University and Hebei Petroleum University of Technology (PRC) are conducting training sessions for professors, instructors, and students at the Luban Workshop of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University from October 24 to 31, 2026.
