The President of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the work carried out in the agricultural sector

​On October 21, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev and the khakims of the country's velayats. The agenda includes consideration of the dynamics of work in the agricultural sector and regions, as well as the National Rural Program.

The first speaker was given to the head of the administration of the Akhal Velayat, S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As reported, the cotton harvest continues in an organized manner with proper use of the technical arsenal: everything necessary is being done to harvest the crop without losses.

At the same time, efforts are being made to optimally complete the sowing of wheat according to the agrotechnical calendar – machinery and units are working at full capacity, vegetation irrigation is carried out on the sown fields.

Heating systems at enterprises, departments, educational institutions, preschool institutions, housing and social facilities in the region have been launched, and their proper functioning is maintained.

The head of the regional administration informed about the preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday, as well as about the pace of construction of social and industrial infrastructure facilities, which are scheduled to be commissioned this year according to the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure the appropriate organization of measures for optimal cotton harvesting in the fields and the completion of sowing wheat within the time limits set by agricultural technology.

Separate instructions related to maintaining control over the timely and high-quality completion of the construction of buildings scheduled for opening this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Next, the hyakim of the Balkan Velayat, H.Ashyrmyradov, made a report on the progress of seasonal agricultural activities.

As noted, targeted measures are currently being coordinated with relevant departments and enterprises to increase the pace of cotton harvesting and harvesting without losses, to ensure uninterrupted transportation and subsequent reception of raw materials by specialized points and enterprises.

In order to optimally sow wheat, the machinery and units involved in the campaign are used at full capacity, and vegetation irrigation is carried out in a timely manner to obtain uniform seedlings in the sown fields.

At the same time, heating systems at enterprises and departments, schools and kindergartens, social facilities and residential buildings have been launched, and uninterrupted electricity, gas and water supply is also provided.

The head of the regional administration informed about the preparations for the upcoming significant dates, including the Turkmen Alabai Holiday, about the progress of work on new buildings of social and industrial infrastructure planned for commissioning this year according to the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report and noting the importance of the current seasonal field campaigns, the Head of state ordered to ensure the high-quality completion of cotton harvesting and sowing wheat.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed to keep under control the pace of construction of various facilities, the opening of which is scheduled for this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

The workshop continued with the report of the hyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev on the progress of seasonal work in the agricultural sector.

As reported, every effort is being made to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting without losses, making maximum use of agricultural machinery in the campaign.

Along with this, the dynamics of the sown wheat is ensured according to the agrotechnical schedule. Moisture-charging irrigation has been completely completed on the areas allocated for grain crops, uniform shoots have been obtained on the sown areas.

In addition, rice harvesting continues in the region.

In light of the impending cold weather, heating systems have been launched in social and housing facilities, and their proper functioning is maintained.

Information was also provided on preparations for cultural events on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabai Holiday, on the state of affairs in new buildings for social and industrial purposes, which are scheduled for commissioning this year according to the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to accelerate the pace of the cotton harvesting campaign, ensure coordination of the functions of all those involved in it, and complete the sowing of wheat in accordance with the agrotechnical calendar.

The Head of State also instructed to monitor compliance with the requirements for the quality of construction of facilities for various purposes, the opening of which is scheduled for this year according to the National Rural Program.

Then M.Annanepesov, the hyakim of the Lebap velayat, made a report on the progress of seasonal agricultural activities.

The head of the regional administration informed about the measures taken to optimize the collection and subsequent delivery of cotton harvested from the fields to the raw receiving points. As reported, for these purposes, the proper functioning of equipment and units is maintained.

Grain sowing continues, and vegetation irrigation is carried out on the sown fields in a timely manner. At the same time, everything necessary is being done to complete the harvesting of rice and its delivery to the state as soon as possible.

In addition, heating systems of facilities in the region have been launched – in educational and cultural institutions, public institutions, and their proper functioning is ensured.

At the same time, everything necessary is being done to optimally complete the sowing of wheat, vegetation watering after the campaign to obtain uniform shoots. Preparations for harvesting the grown sugar beet crop are also continuing.

Work has begun in light of the upcoming heating season: measures are being taken to ensure the proper functioning of the heating system in social, public and residential buildings.

As reported, the necessary efforts are being made to ensure that the cotton harvest is lossless and its uninterrupted delivery to reception points and to cotton gins. At the same time, special attention is paid to maintaining high functionality of agricultural and transportation equipment.

Along with this, according to agrotechnical standards, wheat sowing for the next year's harvest, vegetation irrigation of sown areas and care for seedlings are carried out.

Rice harvesting continues in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, and preparations for harvesting sugar beet are underway in the Mary region.

Summarizing the report and focusing on the relevance of the tasks assigned to the agricultural sector, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under control the optimal implementation of relevant work according to the scheduled schedule.

Further, addressing the participants of the workshop, the Head of state focused on the ongoing responsible agricultural campaign – cotton harvesting. In this regard, the importance of taking targeted measures that will increase the pace of the "white star", the functionality of the combines and other equipment involved in it, cotton gins and reception points, and collect raw materials in a short time and without losses was emphasized. Their timely and high-quality implementation will ensure the optimal harvest of the hard-worked crop and the successful implementation of sectoral reforms.
