An Information and Communication Session on the Horizon Europe Program was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development

Thanks to the successful implementation of the initiatives put forward by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, on the development of international cooperation under the leadership of our Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our country’s foreign policy activities are receiving support worldwide, which testifies to the growing international prestige of Turkmenistan.

The event, held at the International University for the Humanities and Development, one of the country’s prestigious higher education institutions, in the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses»” reinforced to learn more about the structure of the European Union’s Research and Innovation (R&I) Program, the foreign policy of our country under this program, and the peculiarities of the current stages for scholars and innovators from Central Asian countries. The guest speaker at the event was Ms. Ksenia Savchenko, representative of the European Commission’s Global Service Facility (GSF).

The objectives of the event were to provide an overview of the Horizon Europe (HE) program - the European Union;s funding program for Research and Innovation (R&I). Horizon Europe’s work programs for 2026-2027 were also presented.

During the meeting, the participants of the event received an overview of the structure of the Horizon Europe program, as well as the relevant funding lines and thematic areas.

The participants of the meeting expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for all the opportunities created for organizing and participating in such important events.
