A solemn ceremony for awarding the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship to schoolchildren and students of Turkmenistan who have demonstrated a strong interest in studying the Chinese language, culture and traditions of the Chinese people was held at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan.
This initiative represents an important contribution to the further strengthening of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture and youth exchanges. The scholarship is aimed at supporting talented young people, encouraging interest in foreign language learning, and developing humanitarian ties between the two friendly countries.
It should be noted that, thanks to the far-sighted policy, mutual trust and constant attention of the Leaders of Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China, diplomatic relations between the two countries continue to strengthen and are gaining an increasingly stable and dynamic character. During the ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Ji Shumin, congratulated the awardees and noted the progressive development of educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and China. It was emphasized that learning the Chinese language opens up new opportunities for young people to acquire knowledge, participate in academic exchanges, broaden their outlook and strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples.
The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan attaches particular importance to the further development of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China in the field of education.
