Students of the International University of Humanities and Development Gurbandurdy Gurbandurdyev and Medine Muhammedova returned to their homeland after successfully completing an academic exchange program at Hanyang University in the Republic of Korea. As part of the program, students spent a whole year studying at one of the best Korean universities.
While studying at Hanyang University, Gurbandurdy and Medina expanded their knowledge in various areas. Turkmen students studied Korean language and culture, and the program also included areas in AI, advertising, Western culture, bioarchaeology and even forensic anthropology.
In addition to their studies, students actively participated in cultural and sports events, contributing to events organized at the university aimed at helping foreign students adapt to life on campus and the daily Korean routine.
After the successful completion of the exchange program, the leadership of Hanyang University presented certificates to Turkmen students in a solemn ceremony.
“Studying in the Republic of Korea was an exciting experience for me. Studying alongside international and Korean students allowed me to gain valuable knowledge in international communication and cultural exchange. I sincerely thank MUGNiR and Hanyang University for providing us with such educational opportunities,” shared Medina Muhammedova.
Let us add that Gurbandurdy Gurbandurdyev is currently a second-year undergraduate student majoring in “Public International Law,” and Medina Muhammedova is a second-year undergraduate student majoring in “International Relations and World Politics.”
