Turkmenistan strengthens cybersecurity and trains IT specialists

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of 2024 online. Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications Mammethan Chakyev reported on measures to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity and train highly qualified specialists in this field, writes TDH.
As noted, advanced digital technologies are being actively introduced in Turkmenistan as part of the concept of development of the digital economy. Work to ensure cybersecurity is carried out in the established information center.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of training high-level IT specialists and gave instructions to expand training in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Strengthening the country's cybersecurity is a requirement of the time, the head of state noted.
