ROBOT ASSISTANT FOR YOUR HOME: LG PRESENTS AN INTELLIGENT NEW PRODUCT

LG has announced its latest smart home innovation, the Smart Home AI Agent. This is a two-legged robot on wheels. It combines artificial and multimodal technologies.
The new product is positioned as an intelligent assistant for the home. It can move independently and navigate in space thanks to the built-in camera and sensors. The speakers and microphone along with the AI system help it understand and respond to human speech, actively participating in communication with users.
The LG robot is equipped with the Qualcomm Robotics RB5 platform and sensors to collect information about the environment. It can measure temperature, humidity and indoor air quality in real time.
In addition, the assistant is able to connect to smart household appliances and control them at the owner’s command. It can guard the home and send an alert to the user when it detects any unusual activity. It will also remind you of things in the user’s personal schedule and allow, for example, to avoid missing medications at the right time.
The manufacturer will tell you more about the capabilities and characteristics of Smart Home AI Agent at CES 2024. The exhibition will be held from January 9 to January 12, 2024 in Las Vegas.
