Today, December 6, the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The meeting brought together the heads of leading ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as a representative delegation of the Republic of Turkey led by Vice-President Cevdet Yilmaz.
Economic issues, regional and international aspects of cooperation, as well as the implementation of the work plan approved at the previous meeting were discussed at the meeting.
The head of the Turkish delegation expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his attention to the meeting and the warm welcome. He emphasized that the results of the meeting contribute to the expansion of cooperation between the countries.
It is noticeable that the bilateral partnership is developing on the basis of friendship and brotherhood. Many areas of cooperation, such as trade, economics, investment, banking, energy, transport, industry, education, healthcare, culture, sports and others, are developing at a high level.
The commission members expressed their readiness to expand interaction by taking concrete steps to diversify areas of cooperation. It is important to note that the participation of representatives of both countries in international conferences and forums will help expand contacts.
Based on the results of the meeting, the final protocol was signed. The commission members expressed confidence that the decisions made will give new impetus to the partnership between Turkmenistan and Turkey in the interests of both countries and peoples.
