Participated in an international event

Guvanch Janmammedov, a 3rd-year student at Balkanabat oil Secondary professional school, participated in the event “Youth of Central Asia against Digital Violence” organized by the United Nations Development Program Office in Turkmenistan, held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, on December 2-3, 2025.

The event brought together 30 students from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan, providing a platform to develop their skills in addressing real issues related to gender and digital violence. Participants were selected based on their high academic achievements and commitment to the principles of sustainable development.

The two-day program included general sessions, practical trainings on cyber hygiene and the application of artificial intelligence, as well as storytelling masterclasses. Participants worked under the guidance of experts from key UN agencies (WHO, UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women, UNDP).

This event caused great enthusiasm among our students. This is a clear indication of the active participation of Turkmen youth in international events.
