Working meeting via videoconference on construction and installation works of the "Lu Ban Workshop" project

In the joint declaration of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China, adopted during the state visit of our esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar to the People's Republic of China in 2023, it was proposed to implement the "Lu Ban Workshop" project in Turkmenistan.

In this regard, on April 17, 2025, a working meeting was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University with the participation of the heads of this educational institution, faculty, representatives of the Hebei Petroleum University of Technology and Xi’an Shiyou University via videoconference.

During the meeting, together with representatives of the People's Republic of China, draft documents related to the construction and installation work of the educational building and equipping it with modern laboratory equipment in accordance with the "Lu Ban Workshop" project were reviewed and discussed, and specific proposals were considered.

The establishment of the "Lu Ban Workshop" can be considered as a concrete example of the development of cooperation in the field of science and education between the two countries. Cooperation between the People's Republic of China and Turkmenistan in the oil and gas, economic, political and cultural spheres will contribute to the further development of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries.
