Delegation of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan Attended the World Congress and Educational Forum in the People's Republic of China

From October 17 to 26, 2026, a delegation from the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan visited Beijing, People's Republic of China, to participate in the "World Congress on Traditional Medicine – 2026" and the Education Forum on Traditional Medicine, organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

Representatives from leading universities and research centers worldwide attended the congress and educational forum to discuss issues regarding the integration of traditional medicine with modern medicine and the implementation of digital artificial intelligence technologies. During the forum, detailed information was presented on the fruitful results of bilateral cooperation between the universities - initiated under the auspices of Hero-Arkadag and successfully continuing for over 10 years - as well as the activities of the specialized classroom for teaching Chinese medicine at our university.

As part of the visit, the delegation attended the 70th-anniversary celebrations of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and held official meetings with the Rector of the university and specialists from the International Cooperation Department. During the meetings, agreements were reached on training specialists and students, enhancing educational curricula, and conducting joint scientific research.
